Training

Great news. Liftech now offers a “OSHA 10 HOUR SAFETY CONSTRUCTION COURSE”. As an OSHA Outreach Authorized Trainer Jeff Hauser can come to your facility, jobsite or set your team up in our training center to complete the OSHA 10 Hour Safety Construction course. The OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide an entry level construction worker’s general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site.

In addition, we will also have a few open enrollment classes during the summer of 2017 that you or your employees can join in on. If you would like to book a class or simply get more information, please contact us.

Chapter 282 of the Laws of 2007, codified as Labor Law 220-h took effect on July 18, 2008. The statute provides as follows:

The advertised specifications for every contract for public work of $250,000.00 or more must contain a provision requiring that every worker employed in the performance of a public work contract shall be certified as having completed an OSHA 10 safety training course. The clear intent of this provision is to require that all employees of public work contractors, required to be paid prevailing rates, receive such training “prior to the performing any work on the contract.”

This training is in addition to the operator certification and authorization training we offer for Aerial Equipment, Telehandlers, Skid Steers, Loaders, Backhoes and more.
