Our History
Liftech Equipment Companies, Inc. began operating as an independent corporation, Liftech Handling, Inc., in September of 1988, after operating as a profitable division of the Syracuse Supply Company since 1964.
With significant training, fleet management, and parts distribution capabilities, we are able to bring to our customers a wide array of value added services. Our ability to manage fleets and provide contract maintenance services for our customer base, has resulted in significant cost savings for our customers.
In the years since 1988, the owners of Liftech have guided the company into a leadership role, not only in sales and support of Hyster Lift Trucks, but with what has become the most complete line-up of best-of-breed equipment types available from a single source in all of Upstate New York and Vermont.
From our in-house engineering capabilities to our radio dispatched fleet of trained service and installation crews, we are able to offer our customers complete coverage from project inception to after installation service and planned maintenance programs.
